Frequently Asked Questions
Below is a list of common Party rental questions. While this is not intended to cover every situation, we hope we will answer the most common ones quickly. If you don’t find the answers here, please call or text us at (785) 766-6014.
Q. It’s raining or it may rain now what?
A. While in the summer we have pretty good bouncing and sliding weather, every once in a while it will rain on a party day.
If there is scattered rain in the area, we will be in contact with you 24 hours prior to plans our options. If you decide to go ahead with the party as planned, we will deliver and setup.
If you decide to cancel our delivery, 24 hours in advance because of weather, we will work with you. We can reschedule and offer a rain check on your payment that is good for 60 days.
Note: If we deliver and setup, and it rains there are no rainchecks, refunds or discounts. When we deliver, we are already committed with labor costs, fuel etc… So, if you would like to cancel, let us know 24 hours in advance.
Q. Are you guys properly insured?
A. Yes we are! It’s illegal in most states to rent inflatables without state inspections and insurance, Kansas has a set of requirements that we try to meet and exceed when it comes to safety, please research our competitors to ensure they are running a legitimate business and choose a company that is properly insured.
Q. Does All About the Bounce offer customer pick-ups?
A. At this time, we do not offer customer pick-ups because in the state of Kansas and for our insurance we are required to deliver, setup and take down your bounce house.
Q. Do you rent by the hour?
A. The answer is no. We feel as though we would be offering our customers a disservice by doing so. Therefore, we only rent our jumps and slides out once a day. This gives us time to make sure our inflatables are inspected, sanitized and properly installed.
Q. Will that thing blow away?
A. All About the Bounce takes safety very seriously. We use heavy duty steel stakes or sand bags when securing our units. However, the wind can be extremely powerful. If the wind starts blow in excess of 15- 20 mph, get the kids out and deflate the unit. If the wind lets up, turn the blower back on and enjoy.
If the weather is calling for very high winds on the day of your rental we will be in touch prior to setup and can make the call of canceling or rescheduling then.
Q. How do I pay?
A. All About the Bounce accepts, cash, Paypal or credit/debit cards. You can pay by credit card with our emailed invoices. We take credit/debit cards or cash on a of delivery. Due to the amount of returned checks we can no longer accept them.

A. All About the Bounce will include everything needed to setup within 50-100ft of a power supply. Please make sure there is a clean area for setup, remove any branches, rocks or sharp objects. If you are renting a water slide you will need to supply your own hose.

Q. When do you setup?
A. That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally, we arrive 30 min-4 hours before the rental time begins.
If you have a specific time that your rental is needed please include it and we will deliver prior to the event. Pickup times are also staggered, but you are not required to be present as long as we can get access to the unit.
Q. Does the standard 5-7 hours rental time include your setup?
A. Yes and no. We arrive early to setup so you get the most amount of time with your rental. We try to pickup our units between 6-8 pm in the fall as days get shorter and a little later in the spring and summer as the days get a little longer.

A. We love setting up at parks, but most parks do NOT have electricity or require that you use a generator. Please check with your park before renting a bounce house. We also have a generator that can be rented.

A. All reservations with require a $50 non refundable deposit on a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card in advance of the event to secure a reservation. In the event of a cancellation the deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is the fault of All About the Bounce, LLC. If the weather is not cooperating on the day of your reservation we will be happy to work with you to reschedule your reservation with no cost or penalty.
Q. What surfaces do you setup on?
A. We can setup on grass ( our favorite), dirt asphalt and concrete. We cannot setup on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps. Please let us know as soon as possible if we will be setting up on concrete so we can have proper anchoring of your unit. NOTE: We will not setup waterslides on concrete, wet slides, kids and concrete do not mix.
Q. Are we responsible for the unit is it gets a tear or damage in any way?
A. Yes and no. You are not responsible for the normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens, please alert us at once and we can remedy the situation.
If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules of negligence (i.e., not turning off the blower in high winds, sharp objects, silly string, adults using the bounce house not rated for adults) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including the replacement of the unit/blower etc. We don’t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
Also, gum, hair dyes, sticky substances, candy and food stains will be subject to a cleaning fee of $150.
Silly string damage is permanent and will be charged the entire cost of the unit, please be aware of this, once you have paid you will own it.
